I believe the Lord is calling His people into greater dimensions of His Presence. The most dreadful place for us to be in is to cease to move from one dimension of glory to another. Scripture tells us that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for us. Wait! Don’t stop with that verse. The next verse of that passage goes on to say, BUT God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. Glory to God! God wants to take us into loops and loops of His revelation that we’d be awestruck by Him. He wants to take our eyes off ourselves, and wants it glued on Him!
Oh, but the body of Christ has missed it! I’m gonna share with you a vision the Lord showed me that will explain to us where we are missing it.
The Lord took me into a vision while He was teaching me on the Spirit baptism. He showed me a cup and a bucket of water. He then dipped the cup into the bucket of water and He asked me, ‘What do you see?”. I said, “A cup dipped in a bucket of water”. He said, “You have seen correctly. This is the baptism in the Spirit”.
I then asked Him what the evidence of the Spirit baptism was and He said, “The first evident thing that happens when a cup is immersed is that it’s mouth starts overflowing.” But He didn’t stop there. He dipped the cup further into the bucket to the bottom, and He said, “Many Christians stop with the overflowing of the mouth, but the purpose of the Spirit baptism is to take you down to the bottom to the ground of humility so that I can do My work through you without any hindrance.”
If you’re still looking for the answer, my friend, here it is: humility is our destiny, not speaking in tongues. That’s just the beginning of the big dip! I say again, the purpose of being soaked in Him is that you may be humble. And what does it mean to be humble? It means to get your eyes fixed on God and His agenda rather than yours!
Yes, Pride is a horible sin that ruins so much. The sooner we let go of our plans and ideas – the sooner God will move us into His plans and Glory.

First of all, I’d like to say that I read your blog regularly and often find great knowledge and encouragement through it. Just curious, though, didn’t poorhousedad comment on this post? I understand that we all have disagreements, but that does not mean we cannot discuss them in a respectful way. You could easily post your own reply to poorhousedad’s comments on your blog to defend yourself, but that does not require deleting his comments. I know this from personal experience. On a blog I used to have I let an argument go too far and deleted the person’s comments. They got real mad at me. I found that I was not the best example of Christ and whatever seed might have been sown was lost to that person. Forgive me if I’m wrong about deleting his post, but if I’m right, it just doesn’t seem right. I see that the link to his post about your post shows up, but isn’t that automatic?

NYCindividual asked me why I rejected these comments, so I thought I should explain myself.
First of all, I encourage any healthy discussions. As NYCindiviual said, “I understand that we all have disagreements, but that does not mean we cannot discuss them in a respectful way.”. I agree totally to this, and emphasize on “respectful way”.
I have been into countless discussions on this topic, and before I get involved I make sure that everyone agrees that we’d respect each others beliefs but still be firm to present our views.
You must also realize that there are those from non-Christian backgrounds who view these posts. Therefore it’s very important we take great care of what we write.

As in your example of the little cup in the big bucket of water, when we realize how big God is and how we are so small we cannot possibly contain all of His Spirit, we should be humbled. We should also find the freedom to open ourselves up in an endless thirst so that we can live in God\’s overflow.

Really like this Sid. Great picture with the filled cup and then the filled cup sinking to the bottom. He washed His disciples feet. He got on His knees to do this. Lord may your example transform us. And You reign!
