You won’t believe this Sidarth but I was travelling last weekend on the train to the south coast and the Lord spoke to me about holiness!! I was particularly drawn to the idea of being ‘set apart’ and the ‘otherness’ of God. How wonderful. His Spirit unites us. Have a great weekend.

Right on sid! righteousness without holiness is difficult to sustain and rather makes it ‘pragmatic righteousness’.

    Truly blessed and rejuvenating.

    Keep it coming.

Yes, it is His holiness working in and through us. I sure can’t be holy on my own. Tried that early on in my walk and it sure didn’t work. Love the leave and cleave message here. Excellent word picture for me to hold onto.

Two excellent things in this post
    1. The picture (cool photo taking there!)
    2. Great topic, holiness… I just learned that we should know the difference between pure and holy. Pure is clean but there’s no GOD there yet.. but holy is the condition that we clean and also offer it to GOD. Therefore, we can be a GOD’s tools for mankind.

    Thank’s for the sharing..

Early on in my Christian walk I thought holiness was only for God. I now pursue it as a treasure. Thank you for this post! Beautiful analogy!

God taught me another lesson on marriage the other day, and why it is so important that a Christian couple pray and worship together.

Doesn’t it say that where two or three are gathered in His name, that the Lord is among us (Matthew 18:20)?

Two — a couple, husband a wife. When a couple prays and worships the Lord together, He is there amidst them! That’s a HUGE blessing.

I pray that all of us who are married realize this and make it a point to pray and worship the Lord together.

    Shalom.
