Well said! This needs to be taught in churches more. Too many people think the Old Testament is irrelevant to modern Christians, but they just don't understand. It all points to Jesus. Without studying the O.T., we can't fully understand what Jesus did for us on earth.

My pastor taught on the tabernacle a while back, taking many weeks and even having full-size replicas of the "furniture" so we could relate, plus pictures displayed on the screen. It was such a revelation, because it showed how it all tied together.

You're right about God's presence. It's hard to explain when you finally get to the Most Holy Place, but "silence" is part of it. It's like you get to a place where words aren't necessary anymore, where you can commune with God in spirit. When that happens, I usually lose track of time and even forget where I'm at. It's truly wonderful beyond description.

Amen, Justin, if people took time to be in God's Presence, they'd be more like Him. It's like if we spend time with a person of superior and admirable character, we tend to imitate them sometimes even unknowingly.

Mike, our entire focus must be His Presence. I knew a man of God who wouldn't go to speak in meetings till he knew in his spirit that God's Presence went with Him.

We should do nothing without the attestation of His "directive" Presence.

Amen, Kim, how privileged we are to be children of the Most High and Holy God! =)

Glad the images helped you, Dave

Sid

Isn't it wonderful how it all points to Jesus? Great post Sidarth!

God is calling us deeper into the place of the spirit, where He can fellowship with us. This never ceases to amaze and humble me. It touches my heart and makes me want to run to Him.

Great post! I agree, the pictures really helped!

I wish this teaching would become more wide spread, so people could start to understand more about the Presence of God. Imagine how different the world would be!

You can't get into the Presence of God and stay the same person. It just isn't possible!
