It’s true that we must pray, but it’s pointless asking God to do away with the desire. Sexual desire is right, the channeling is wrong. And he has given us a brain, why not do the smart thing and exercise restraint. Don’t type in the URL. Turn your eyes away from what you know you should not be watching. Don’t place yourself in a situation where you will be tempted with your girl/guy Or else, or else what? “God, but I asked you to stop me..” You would look mighty foolish to come face to face with God and start making excuses. The word says that by your words you will be acquitted [Matt 12:37]. You won’t even be able to keep quiet. You will just end up blabbing it out, he is a Holy God. Your way out, is self restraint through the help of the Holy Spirit [the Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor…], and forgiveness through Jesus. Because he will blot out all your past sins and remember them no more. He takes them far away from you. How far? As far as the east is from the west [Psalm 103:12]. So let’s just say that it is as far as one end of the universe from the other.

Then just have the conscious effort to try to lead a pure life. Look to him when you fall, and with your heart, strongly desire his strength. When you surrender. He will carry you through [1 Corinthians 10:13].
