SAY SO!

By Sidharth MohandasThey overcame him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony [Revelation 12:11]

There are countless Christians around the world who are unaware of how important it is to maintain a consistent personal testimony about the blood of Jesus.

The first Scripture I want to bring to your attention with regard to this is Ephesians 1:7, “In Him [Christ] we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace”.

Pay attention to the first two words: “In Him”. What does it mean to be in Him? It means to come to an end of yourself and making an unreserved commitment to Christ Jesus. Once we are in Him, the bible tells us we have redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of sins. What does it mean to redeem? To redeem means “to buy back, to pay a ransom price”. We were in the hands of Satan, but on the cross Jesus paid the ransom price of His blood to buy us back to God.

Now how does God expect us to respond? “Let the redeemed of the Lord SAY SO, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy” [Psalm 107:2]

We are to SAY that we are redeemed. God tells us how to respond; now it’s up to us to obey Him by confessing and proclaiming before heaven, hell and earth what the blood of Jesus has done for us.

Do not let reasoning enter where God’s Word comes. We are to walk in the Spirit, and respond in the Spirit. If the enemy comes to you questioning the Word of God, your response must be “God said so, I believe it and that settles it!” Never be foolish as Eve, trying to convince her self and Satan that God had really said what He had. The moment you step down from the realm of the spirit into the realm of analyzing God’s word with your five senses and your intellect, you will be overcome by the enemy and in no time you will find yourself spiritually dry and empty.

Raised from the dead!

By Christina Papali

I suffered from multiple aneurysms and fell dead in a friend’s house; there was a neurosurgeon who witnessed what happened because we were having lunch together. He checked my pulse and pronounced me dead, seeing my children gape in shock my friends picked up my dead weight and took me to the hospital and since they had taken my dead corpse to the hospital the staff wanted to put me in the mortuary but my friends did not allow it. By that time most of the church members had gathered in the hospital not to cry or weep but they began praising and worshiping Jesus right there in the hospital and after a couple of hours my pulse returned and they were able to take a scan which showed several blood vessels in my brain behind my right eye had burst and I was bleeding.

Since the operation was of a very delicate nature and there were no proper facilities I was transported to another hospital some miles away. Normally the surgeon operates his own private patients first and then on outsiders and because I had come from another hospital there were some technical formalities but my Jesus saw me through and the doctor attended on me before his own patients.

Prior to the operation the neurosurgeon told my husband that even if the operation were a success, I would either be a vegetable for life, or paralyzed or blind in one eye. My friends encouraged the doctor to perform the operation while they prayed, besides my friends in the hospital my pastor in my home church also prayed till he got a word of knowledge that I had come back to life so while prayers were offered by my friends and Christian churches across the globe the delicate operation was performed and clips were inserted to reconnect the blood vessels that had ruptured and praise God I am Alive once more.

During my period of rest which was approximately one year, I could not remember the people around me as I was heavily sedated. During the periods I was awake which was mostly during the night I would cry out to God and try to pray, but I could not remember any Scripture. I used to feel very frustrated. About this time the sly old devil would come in different shapes and try to frighten me. I would try to call out for help but words would not come forth, all I could remember and say was Blood of Jesus and immediately the devil would leave. Yes, the devil is so scared when we speak about the Blood of Jesus, because he cannot stand the Blood of Jesus as it reminds him of his defeat at the cross of Calvary and he tries to stop churches from singing or talking about the blood of Jesus. Revelation12:11 says “And they (we) overcome him (devil) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their (our) testimony.

Where Is Your Plea?

By Sidharth Mohandas

What does it mean to plead the blood of Jesus? Many think this phrase is unbiblical because it is not found in the bible.

The word “plead” mainly has two meanings: the first meaning is to beg earnestly, the second meaning is to present a state of defense or justification.

The biblical kind of plea has the second meaning: to present a state of defense or justification.

Now I want you to imagine that you are in severe debt. Say you have to pay millions and millions of dollars and there is no way you can clear the debt. You have some pennies in your pocket, but that’d be just a spit in an ocean. When suddenly someone comes along and tells you that he wants to pay your debt. You now accept the offer and the man pays your debt. So that means you are now free from the debt, and you have with you the receipt that you have paid the money. However , sometime later someone comes along and starts accusing you of not paying the money; telling you that you have to go to the jail for not paying it. What will your response be? Obviously, you present the receipt that will justify you. What happens if you forget about the receipt?

The bible says we have now been justified by His blood… (Romans 5:9). Again the bible says, we are justified FREELY BY HIS GRACE through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus (Romans 3:24). And that means we are no longer guilty because we have personally accepted free justification that comes to us as a result of Jesus shedding His blood on the Cross. Your receipt, my friend, is the blood of Christ. This is your plea, when the enemy comes to accuse you.

Has there been a time when the enemy came and started accusing you of the sins you had done in the past? May be the consequences of that sin was still going on in your life, but you had asked God to forgive you. Now the devil comes along and accuses you, “You have sinned. No one could commit such a big sin and not be found guilty. God has not forgiven you. You probably are beyond redemption.”

My friend, have you forgotten the receipt? Jesus paid for your sins, you are no longer guilty. You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. How do you overcome this? They overcame him (satan) by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. (Revelation 12:11). You bring out the receipt and say, “His blood has washed me clean, I am justified, sanctified, and made the righteousness of God through the blood of Christ.” This is your testimony! Your plea to freedom! You are not begging for release from accusation, but you are rightfully claiming your release. HalleluYah!

This plea is applicable for every area of your life. Sickness and disease? Yes, He paid for the sickness that has afflicted you through His blood. Place the blood over the sickness and remind the enemy that healing is rightfully yours. The blood reminds the devil of his defeat on the Cross. Plead the blood where ever needed in your life, and you will have the results of what Jesus died for you.

A final exhortation: Do not be moved by feelings. When God said He would forgive you, He never said you would ‘feel’ forgiven. He asked you to appropriate that promise through faith. In the same manner, when you ask for healing, believe you have received the healing, and do not be afraid to declare it. Sometimes, the devil will worsen your condition so as to make you believe a lie that he uses very often, “May be it’s not God’s will for me to be healed”. Do not be moved by what your physical senses say; instead be moved by what the Word of God says. Remember, the bible says we are to walk by faith and not by sight.
