I’m sure most of you know that I was a cancer patient and that I had a tumor on my right shoulder that was operated and removed. Though the Lord healed me, I was unable to lift my right arm above my shoulder, probably because the muscles in that area were removed. For years I carried this disability in my body, unable to even lift my hands to worship the Lord. However, I must confess that I never prayed about it as it had become so much a part of me.
Some years back when a man of God came down from the States to conduct a crusade, I had volunteered in his meetings as a prayer warrior. In one of those services he encouraged each of us to touch Jesus in faith like the woman who touched the hem of Jesus’ garment in the Bible and to receive wholeness from the Lord. He said, “Scripture tells us, ‘Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved’. If you are a ‘whosoever’ call on His name and be delivered“. I was worshipping the Lord with my left hand lifted up [right hand lifted less than half way with great difficulty], and then suddenly I felt a warm and gentle wind twirl around my right arm. I thought to myself, “Could He have touched my arm?” and before I could finish thinking my hand was up all the way, and it was all tingling! Glory to God!
In the older covenant, the Lord gave the Jews a commandment: ‘Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel. You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the LORD…[Numbers 15:38-39]
The Israelites were to make tassels at the corners of their garment, and these represented the Word of God. There is an interesting truth about the woman being healed by touching the hem of Jesus’ garment.
Scripture says: [she] came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak, and immediately her hemorrhage stopped. [Luke 8:44]
Do you know what Greek word Luke used for the word “fringe” in the above verse? It’s the word “kraspedon“, which is the same word for “tassel”.
Beloved, I strongly urge you to find a place to touch in the Word of God, a promise He has given that will help you release your faith in Him. Be encouraged by my testimony and seek Him for your wholeness. Not just healing for your body, but wholeness for the whole you. Remember, in doing so our focus should always be the flourishing of the kingdom of God. We want His kingdom to function how Abba intended it to function. When Jesus healed the sick and cast out demons, He said “But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out the demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you”. Will you believe for the kingdom of God to come upon you?
Make it your goal today to be a kingdom-expander. Mind you, when this becomes your goal Satan will use religious people to oppose you, but do not be hindered, you’re far beyond religion, you’re a royal citizen!

This is a shortened version of my Testimony as to what God has done in my life. I’m known in the blog world as “Inspired.”
I was born in 1957 on a council housing estate in England. First I must add I don’t brag or boast about my past, in fact I’m ashamed of it. From an early age I was typecast by some as a deviant delinquent. I soon began to play the role and set out on a life of drinks, drugs, violence and crime. And by the time I was 38, my life had spiraled out of control and now I was heavily involved in gangland protection rackets and was no stranger to Her majesty’s prisons. The last time I was at H. M court house I was branded a drunk, a menace to the society and a danger to the public and stand on the edge of life imprisonment if I ever commit another violent offense. This didn’t change me, it only enhanced my reputation in the criminal world.
Then one day I saw a Bible in a Hotel bedroom placed by the Gideons. I found a phone number of a local Gideon and asked for one. When he came we chatted and he told me that God loved me. This was a revelation to me as I had never heard that before - and bear in mind I was still high on drugs and still living a sinful life - and here a man tells me that God loves me… After some time while reading the Gospel of John my girlfriend gave me a choice: “throw the Bible out or leave.” I left and went to my mothers’. To my astonishment she also asked me to leave, saying the Bible had me possessed. I found myself in a field with nothing, absolutely nothing but God’s Word. I started to cry, then sobbed, then broke my heart as I wept and wept . The sinful life had taken its toll.
As you can image, I wasn’t a Christian, none of my friends were Christians, neither were any of my family. But in that field of loneliness and rejection from loved ones God reached down and spoke to me through His Word.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my own personal Saviour in that field… like Paul I can say… I died in that field, I live , yet it is not I who lives but Christ who lives in me… I can say to you, my friend, no matter how far you have fallen, God loves you and it is HIS desire that you be saved. We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God…
Repent for your sins and believe in the Good News that God loves you.

Around a month back I had to go to Vellore, and I was to travel in the train. For some strange reason, the electricity in my buggy had gone out and we were sitting in the dark- without any light or fan. I started thanking the Lord, just then the Lord interrupted and said, “Put off your artificiality and thank me with your heart.”. Sometimes we become “super spiritual” and use words we don’t mean to Him. So I started thanking Him with sincerity. I started with thanking Him for the train tickets [getting the ticket was a miracle because I booked the ticket 2 days before Indian Independence Day...and usually it's impossible to get train tickets even a week before the journey], I thanked for the finances… and the list went on… but while I was still thanking Him, the electricity was restored. My heart was filled with joy and I started praising Him. The Lord said, “Will you continue to joy even if the electricity goes off?”. As soon as He said this, the electricity went off. I was filled with awe at what He had just revealed to me! My joy is in Him, not in whether the electricity is there or not. His presence in my life is the greatest joy! As soon as this revelation took hold of me, I began offering a rumble of praise. Oh how blessed we are to have Him in our life!
Decide with me to joy in Him in spite of what you go through. Nothing else deserves our attention but Him!
